My name is Jason Fritsche and I am a hockey player. My whole life has been based on a dream and striving to achieve it. Since I was a kid my life goal was to have a career in the sport that I learned to love. I have been blessed with a healthy environment and body, both very important assets to reach my goal. Day in, day out I realize how fortunate I have been and I have always been aware  that  not everybody has been lucky as I have been.

Years ago I watched a sled hockey game and I was drawn by the players' effort, intensity, and commitment. Those players had different kind of disabilities, but despite that, they had the help and the equipment necessary to be out there to compete and have fun.
 I have created The Be a Voice Foundation for this specific reason, to give men and women stricken with illnesses or victims of accidents the chance to continue dreaming and/or competing by offering some relief.
